Disparity Map

The Tracker is broken up into Chicago’s 77 community areas first formed in the 1920s. These urban communities reflect the city’s differences in race, housing, income and education.

You can select a disparity filter and see how your community stacks up. As you select the criteria the most disadvantaged community areas will darken. Selecting additional filters will combine results.
